there was another artist that really liked that painting vibrate nation that won the people choice award she told me to name you prize and don't sell yourself too short, I said $300, and she said deal, the great thing about this was that I believe that she is one of the best local artist in my district. I have looked up to her and have been inspired, I went to one of her workshops and got great use of technique. and to have be admiring someone's work since you know them, and for that person to buy something of you's in return I am so honored & was a big jump of me getting required but someone how has been in the art world for so long.... so

My profile pic is of my latest win. The abstract painting was called "Vibrant Nation." I put it into The Queensland Regional Art Awards, I had to do something based on the theme 'Connection.' This was great for me and the outcome was that I won the people choice award.  This award was sponsored by the Art Shed Brisbane and I received a $750 gift voucher to spend on art supplies- exciting times ahead  :)
